This position is is responsible for leadership of a 65 person platoon including both management responsibilities – human resources, labour relations, business planning, stakeholder relationship management (other civic departments and external agencies) – as well as assuming the senior command role at fires and emergency incidents from strategy development and incident action planning through to tactical and personnel assignment and media relations.
