Job Title: Real Estate Coordinator, Eastern Canada, Astral Media
Status: Regular - Full Time
Reporting to: Real Estate Manager
Work Location: Bell Media / Astral – 87 Ontario Ouest, Montréal, Québec, H2X 1Y8

Responsibilities

Working with the Real Estate Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for developing his market, renewing leases and participating in development planning. All of these responsibilities fall under 3 major groups:

Business Development

  • Generates & handles all Leads that would match the Astral Portfolio from inquiry calls, follow-ups and cold calling
  • Analyzes opportunities by building business cases
  • Develop key city’s and markets

Leasing

  • Responsible for the renewal of existing lease agreements
  • Prepare and negotiate lease agreements with partners to secure new or existing inventory
  • Writes proposals using standardized templates and approved valuing of services and contracts with clients, coordinating with other departments as needed
  • Be a POC for our partners questions regarding rent, payments, or other Lease related topics
  • Working with Vendors to solve issues or complaints that arise
  • Planning the phases of deployments of new advertising products with the rest of the team and the operations department
  • Produce and interpret Revenue vs Rent analysis for each location in order to propose the best solution for the renewal

Systems

  • Responsible for end to end usage of systems on all new agreements and renewals (Quattro, SAP)
  • Works with all teams on the deployment of new products and ensures all systems are updated with relevant information
  • Enter, maintain and routinely audit data, reports and electronic files to ensure accurate accounting, record keeping and file management
  • Work closely with the Capital Asset & Lease Accounting team (CALA) on ensuring the conformity and accuracy of our data in SAP (vendor, term and conditions)

Essential Qualifications

  • High school level or higher
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (project management, business development, contract administration)
  • A great attitude towards customer service is required
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of English required: Maintaining professional relationships with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada is critical to this position. Also as a part of the job, this person will be required to produce documents in French & English
  • Excellent time management and organization
  • Initiative, pro-activity and strong ability to build business connections
  • Perfect command of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP
  • Advertising knowledge
