What are your contributions to the team?

The successful candidate will help drive the Digital Transformation strategy and operational execution. You will partner with key executives, sponsors, leaders and business teams across all initiatives to embed change across the organization. To be successful in this role, the candidate requires strong experience in the program management, the capacity to influence without authority, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.

Digital Strategy Development

  • Collaborate with leadership to define and refine the digital transformation strategy aligned with business goals
  • Develop business cases for new initiatives and present for approval
  • Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities for digital innovation

Program Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for digital transformation initiatives
  • Prioritize portfolio of initiatives in conjunction with the deployment of Operational Excellence and IT to ensure strategic alignment and desired business outcomes

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to leadership and key stakeholders regularly

Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and issues related to digital initiatives and develop mitigation strategies
  • Proactively address challenges to ensure project success

Performance Measurement

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess the performance of digital transformation projects
  • Provide insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization and improvement

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a proven experience of at least five (5) years as a Project/ Program Manager, leading digital transformation initiatives in a similar industry
  • You possess a Business degree. Having an MBA or a PMP would be considered an asset
  • You have a strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and their applications in business
  • You have a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving skills, able to develop creative ideas/solutions by engaging the business/subject matter experts and challenging the status quo
  • You have a proven ability to develop and capitalize on new business opportunities, set business goals, develop business cases and deliver on plans
  • You have excellent facilitation and communication skills in both English and French, including strong written skills in both languages
  • You hold excellent project management and organizational skills
  • You think quickly and creatively in a fast-moving and changing business context
