Position Title: Product Owner - Individual Project Management
Reports To: Director, Individual Projects and Production Support

Term: Permanent Full-Time
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
The Opportunity: The key responsibility or the purpose of the Product Owner role is to "maximize the value of the Product" where product is defined as a journey (e.g., Inquiring/Awareness, Acquiring/Purchasing, Servicing/Deepening) or set of cross-cutting capabilities (e.g., Document Management, Identity & Access Management) within a line of business or corporate area.
The Product Owner is the person responsible for maximizing the value of their product. The way the Product Owner maximizes value is by continuously making choices about what to build and what not to build in the Product. To do so, the Product Owner is also responsible for the product vision and for managing the Product backlog and stakeholders.
