We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing construction projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have a results-driven mindset, excellent leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of construction project execution in Ontario, Canada.

You as a Project Manager for the Project Advisory & Management division will:

  • Work closely with senior project managers, site superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and consultants to maintain project alignment.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring adherence to safety requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and manage bid and contract documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Create and update schedules, establish project controls, and generate progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation to ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial forecasts, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
  • Attend project-related meetings, document decisions and action items, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Ensure all work meets company, client, and regulatory standards for safety, quality, and performance.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or budget overruns.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and project teams, ensuring expectations are clearly managed and met.

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have 10 years of experience in construction management within the construction industry.
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, architecture, engineering (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
  • GSC certification is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and project management software (e.g., Procore).
  • Prior experience in construction restoration projects, procurement, tender, design management, contracts, and project financials.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Capable of travelling between multiple sites
