You will be responsible for the management, administration, coordination and development of all project activities through the project lifecycle, from initial planning to completion. The incumbent is also responsible to provide support to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule as well as define, monitor and review across all project phases, including: project initiation, planning, execution, control, and close out activities. You will also participate in the development and implementation of business cases, risk/assumptions logs and workforce requirements. The successful incumbent will provide project and program Interface management support based on input from stakeholders and project team. You will demonstrate behaviours that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment to help remove barriers and accommodate employees and customers (within their area of responsibility) in accordance with TTC's commitments and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and Related Orders, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and TTC's policies. You will be required to participate in the TTC's Customer Service Ambassador Program.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current engineering principles and practices combined with a comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and practices, including conceptual planning and all phases of design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current Project Management Standards.
• Familiarity with project management information systems and reporting as it relates to control of scope, scheduling and cost.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques and practices, contract administration, construction inspection, and knowledge of pertinent Acts and Regulations (Construction Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, etc.).
• A University Degree in a related discipline, with related experience in the areas of general project management and engineering management of heavy construction and/or large multi-discipline projects: or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed to be equivalent.
• Ability to work towards and obtain registration as a licensed Professional Engineer or a similar professional designation in the Province of Ontario.
• A valid Province of Ontario Class "G" Driver's licence.
