What you'll do

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Delivery Manager for the Data Enablement & BI Simplification workstreams, which involves migrating away from aging data assets and BI platforms in support of adoption to our target platform (Azure/Synapse & PowerBI). Additionally, this candidate will be a key player in DNA PI planning.

In this role, you'll do:

  • Project Management: This role involves overseeing end-to-end project management for the Data Enablement workstream and BI Simplication workstreams . Successful project execution entails effective risk management, managing project financials, adherence to best practices and quality standards, transparent reporting, and enhanced collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams. Your goal is to ensure that the project is executed efficiently, on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. Additionally, you will participate in quarterly PI planning for the DNA program and be key in identifying cross-team dependencies and risks on prioritized work items.

  • Program Reporting: You will be accountable for the completion of project/program executive reports highlighting areas of concern or escalation. Leveraging tools like JIRA and Delivery Central, you will promote collaboration on prioritized work items across all DNA workstreams.

  • Continuous Improvement: As a proactive member of the PMO team, you will drive ongoing process improvement initiatives. This involves identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

What you bring

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

  • 5+ years experience in a project manager, APM, SM role or relevant position within an IT project delivery team.

  • Experience with managing platform/data migration projects.

  • Strong proficiency with delivering IT solutions within an agile framework.

  • Strong proficiency with data platforms (Azure - iHub, Synapse, Hadoop Data Lake).

  • Strong proficiency in project management software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).

  • Experience with sAFE principles & PI Planning.

  • Familiarity with BI Visualization tools (PowerBI).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

  • Executive presence; strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to summarize project details to an executive audience.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality deliverables.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
