We are seeking to hire three (3) Project Controls Specialist in our Project Management Office Department.
As the Project Controls Specialist, you will provide project controls expertise to develop the project cost control baseline, implement project change cost impact, calculate Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Forecast at Completion (FAC), and monitor/analyze/report for assigned projects.
You will ensure that project controls resources adhere to project cost coding structures and forecasting processes, to support the production of accurate, consistent and timely baselining, forecasting, and reporting. Also ensures project teams perform due diligence on cost data inputs provided.
You will be responsible to review the project capital cost estimate, scope of work, supporting documents and drawings; assigning appropriate project cost codes; developing the project cost baseline by mapping control account, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).Review and understand project risk contingencies/allowances; calculate drawdown amounts and review/calculate project escalation cost.
Review contract changes, identifying project cost/schedule impacts and initiating project change notices. Review project change's to the scope of work, supporting documents and drawings and assign project cost codes to project change line items; evaluating time and cost impact of the change (when required) and calculating EAC and FAC through change-driven project forecasting.
You will also prepare project cost variance reports; performing project cost data analysis to find variance from baseline, forecast, commitment, incurred and actual cost; providing a written narrative to support the underlying reason. Prepare graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate cost status and forecast requirements for project team. Prepare periodic project status reports in consultation with the project controls lead and project team.
