Could you be the full-time onsite Communication specialist (VIE) in Toronto, ON, CA we're looking for?


Your future role

As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project. Our scope: train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems.

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive communication expertise in a high standard and fascinating environment . You'll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and driven teammates. You'll contribute to the development and coordinate the implementation of internal and external communication strategies for the project. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as communication, public relations, and project management), manage content creation including designing newsletters, crafting communication documents (brochures, posters, leaflets), and creating content for website and social media publications (visuals, videos, etc.), as well as coordinate and finalize the editing of the produced videos, and much more.

We'll look to you for:

  • Creating communication materials such as brochures, posters, and leaflets,
  • Developing content for publication on the website and/or social media platforms, including visuals and videos,
  • Assisting with event organization,
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to promote project objectives,
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjusting as needed,
  • Upholding the company's brand and identity in all communication initiatives,
  • Providing communication support to various departments within the project,
  • Coordinating and finalizing the editing of produced videos,
  • Ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
