ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Marketing Manager at Sephora, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovative marketing programs for our 3rd party brands. Collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners, you'll leverage your marketing expertise and strategic vision to elevate Sephora's brands in mutually beneficial ways, with a special emphasis on media. Reporting directly to the Senior Brand Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brands. Ready to make a difference? Join us and be part of something beautiful!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead the marketing relationship between Sephora and 3rd party brands in your category portfolio
  • Develop a keen understanding of Sephora's integrated marketing capability and the brands' business priorities
  • Advise brands strategically and tactically on how to win at Sephora using omni-channel marketing levers
  • Advise brands on how to prioritize their marketing resources to deliver optimal results
  • Develop go-to-market launch plans for our biggest brand and product launches
  • Develop strong partnership marketing programs, securing brand participation and co-op funding
  • Build and maintain annual brand activation calendars in partnership with vehicle owners and brand partners
  • Lead brand plan execution with excellence, ensuring timely delivery of activation requirements
  • Analyze and report on co-op program investments, providing insightful recommendations
  • Identify brand opportunities and build the case for marketing investment support
  • Manage co-op budget, tracking costs and collection
  • Build reciprocal relationships across the organization (including Merchandising, DotCA, Integrated Marketing, Media, Loyalty, Store Marketing, Events, Marketing Operations, Education, Planning and Analytics)
  • Develop close ties with US counterparts to share learning and best practices, ensuring a consistent brand service experience
  • Play a meaningful role in building and evolving the Brand Marketing service model in Canada

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in account/brand management and omni-channel integrated marketing, savvy in digital and social media
  • Passion for the beauty category and/or retail industry
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • You are flexible, upbeat and energetic - a self‐starter with the ability to quickly build strong partnerships
  • You communicate confidently and effectively share insights and recommendations to marketers, cross-functional partners, executives and brands
  • You are a curious go-getter and love tackling problems using your analytical skills, gathering and interpreting data and trends to make business recommendations
  • You are a persuasive storyteller, able to sell brands on the merits of their investment
  • You demonstrate professional maturity, skillfully navigating sensitive brand conversations and handling confidential information with the utmost discretion
  • You are adaptable, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and relish in working collaboratively with cross-functional partners to drive shared success
