Job Summary:
The GAP Regional Protective Services Manager is responsible for leading Crisis Management, Incident Response, conducting physical security site assessments, and providing security advice or assistance for Accenture locations within the assigned geographic area of responsibility. This role will also maintain an extensive network of law enforcement and external security partners within the assigned geographic area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
General
Has a strong knowledge of Physical Security and Crisis Management.
Shows strong writing skills with the ability to quickly and clearly craft succinct executive briefings.
Comfortable with a highly visible customer facing role.
Performs Physical Security Reviews.
Deals with difficult and sensitive situations appropriately.
Passionate about customer service and executive presence.
Has extensive knowledge in behavioral threat assessment and response.
Has experience running crisis management exercises and events.
Prepares weekly status reports including status, deliverable deadlines, actionable progress and attends team status meetings.
Identifies complex or disputed issues, which have major day-to-day impact on area of responsibility and resolves with guidance from Regional Protective Services Lead/Supervisor.
Develops and manages positive customer relationships within area of responsibility acting as a key contact for security issues.
Establishes near-term goals and provides input to longer-term goals within area of responsibility; contributes to long-term planning.
Has general understanding of life safety, executive protection, and business continuity best practices.
Monitoring Risk Intelligence and Coordinating Incident Response
Highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable.
Monitors local risk intelligence information and provides weekly local threat environment reports to Regional Protective Services Lead.
Coordinates and provides crisis response with Regional Protective Services Lead.
Activates network for disaster response.
Coordinates vendor/contractor response involvement.
Ensures security protocols are adhered to within area of responsibility.
Develops law enforcement, vendor, and emergency management contacts throughout region.
Events
With the executive protection team, plans and provides physical security for meetings involving large partner or client attendance within geographic area of responsibility.
Assists in coordinating on-site security and contract guard support accordingly.
Provides security and contingency planning for market-level meetings and larger community meetings as requested.
Investigations
Supports the Regional Protective Services Lead and investigations team with ad hoc requests.
Treats operational confidence and security with utmost sensitivity
Relationships:
Reports to: Regional Protective Services Lead, North America
Oversees: Metro GAP Leads, if any
External Relationships: Private and public sector security/LE officials
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of ten years of experience in security, emergency management, public service, or military field.
Ability to travel 50% of the time.
Ability to work overtime on short notice during critical events.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
