We are looking for a Director - Scrum and Product Operations to lead our priority software projects and ensuring we deliver quality software on time as a permanent member of the Product Management team in our Toronto office.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Helping to guide the product and engineering teams through a period of significant growth and change.
- Working closely with Product Operations in bringing visibility and transparency to the product development team.
- Coordinate management of team and organization OKRs, both within product, and with engineering and commercial teams.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to roadmap transparency, cross functional transparency, prioritization, innovation process coordination.
- General management, best practices for product toolsets, such as product board and full story.
- Ensuring we have modern and traditional project management techniques: Agile, Kanban and Scrum, dependency management, release management, and capacity planning.
- Managing large complex software development projects involving dependencies across multiple teams across geographies.
- Understanding business processes from a management perspective and multi-level stakeholder management
- Change management: identifying opportunities to improve, evaluating alternatives and influencing stakeholders to follow your recommendations to improve our ability to ship quality software on time
- Creating and reporting upon Key Performance Indicators, initiating and measuring process improvements, and identifying and managing risks.

YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:
- Passion for building and delivering software, not just managing the process.
- 8+ years agile software development project management experience using agile methodologies. Proven leadership skills with the ability to execute well under pressure.
- Comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization including business executives and technical experts. - This includes strong presentation, meeting facilitation, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Broad project management experience, perhaps in infrastructure, integration or software package implementation. - Certified Scrum Master or Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation is an asset.
- Knowledge of productivity tools including Salesforce, JIRA, JIRA Agile, and Tempo is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and English language skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to thrive in a changing environment and adapt as project requirements change.
- Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, ambitious, and strong ability to follow-through on commitments autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
