Job Summary:

CSA Group is offering an opportunity for a student to join our Global Marketing Operations (GMO) team in Toronto starting in April 2025, for a preferred term of 8 - 9 months.

The Digital Marketing Project Coordinator (Co-op) will assist Project Managers with the deployment of digital strategies as part of the Global Marketing Operations team. The successful candidate will learn about and become involved in the following areas:

  • Supports in the delivery of all projects and campaigns within the Marketing & Communications team, including digital products and projects, content operations, technology integrations, and marketing analytics

  • Strives to understand the customer & stakeholder journey, from their first exposure to CSA Group's Marketing campaigns and various points of the marketing funnel.

  • Collaborates with our vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of design, development and other materials as needed.

  • Builds strong collaborative relationships within the Marketing & Communications team and other CSA Group departments as needed.

  • Aids in the ongoing development, evolution, implementation and maintenance of digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

Understanding the Business

  • Understand the customer journey, from their first exposure to CSA Group's digital platforms until becoming a paid customer

  • Understand digital project management, concept, design, usability, development, implementation, and measurement of the effectiveness of digital platforms ranging from UX/UI, SEO, SEM, to Accessibility principles

Working Well with Others

  • Operational business internal point of contact for designated platforms, exercising support in decision-making for developing, evaluating and deploying digital tools and tactics.

  • Builds strong collaborative relationships within the Marketing & Communications function, as well as organizational stakeholders including, but not limited to, Commercial, Operations, Standards, Legal, IT, and other internal functions

  • Collaborates with our development team to implement in-platform changes

  • Collaborates with greater Marketing team and other stakeholders to support in developing and delivering online marketing strategies and campaigns

Concern for Safety

  • Helps build a model of positive safety culture that recognizes and values the participation and contribution of all workers.

  • Identifies potential unsafe conditions in the workplace.

Education and Experience:

  • Completion of second year or higher in an undergraduate certificate program; Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or Project Management.

  • Knowledge of process improvement, change management, and project management would be an asset.

  • Working knowledge of standards development and business processes is an asset.

  • Experience working with volunteers and/or multi-stakeholder groups would be an asset.

Skills:

  • Excellent people skills: managing relationships, facilitating, and networking with people at all levels with divergent interests and backgrounds.

  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills. Detail and process orientation.

  • High degree of self-motivation, initiative, resilience, and adaptability.

  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player.

  • Advanced technical proficiency (word processing, presentation software, project planning software, spreadsheets, etc.).
