A Day in the Life:
Support the Project Management Team:
-Review contracts for site requirements and accuracy
-Organize and schedule jobs.
-Order materials and supplies as per job requirements; ensuring proper equipment is available and arranged.
-Perform high volume file management; ensure files are complete, all authorizations and information is present for work completed.
-Prepare work orders, letters, quotes, etc. and invoicing customers for completed work.
-All other duties as required.
Support the Field Operations:
-Providing Foreman and crews with job information and requirements.
-Maintain employee paperwork for field personnel to ensure any necessary paperwork is provided, such as applications, licenses, police checks, etc.
-Handle client and subcontract inquiries as required.
-All other duties as required.
What You Bring:
-2 to 3 years experience in a similar role in the construction industry; previous experience within the curtainwall/glazing industry considered an asset.
-Education in civil engineering/construction management program or related educational field is an asset
-Proficiency with MS Office including MS Project
-Highly motivated, with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
-Strong communication and organization skills.
-Ability to read plans and specifications.
-Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
