What you'll do

As a part of Product Engineering - Center of Excellence, Change Management Lead will partner with the Product Engineering teams to plan, organize, and implement communication and change management strategies to help align employee behaviour with desired business results. This role will be a key driver for rolling out efficiency improvement capabilities being built by the Center Of Excellence, including Generative AI Capabilities being implemented in Software Delivery teams along with process standardization for usage of key delivery tools such as JIRA, Q TEST. Focusing on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures their primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.

In this role, you 'll:

  • Lead aspects of planning, delivery, development, and execution of change for organizational transformation programs, projects, and initiatives affecting people, technology, and processes

  • Lead & participate in workshops to clarify guiding principles, organizational vision, business transformation, and change management initiatives to CTC's strategic priorities to effectively identify challenges and opportunities

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to evolve organizational change management framework and tools in ways that help grow broader adoption and application

  • Identify, analyze, report, and advise on CTC's operating environment that could impact the organization's strategic objectives and performance Identify, manage, and mitigate potential risks relating to impending transformational change initiatives, and proactively escalate as needed

  • Write and edit communications that shape an internal narrative around our Digital Transformation Office strategic pillars and promoting it throughout Canadian Tire Corp to help drive recognition and adoption

  • Commit to excellence in the service, delivery, and change management, policy framework, and development initiatives

  • Develop evaluation frameworks and monitor and evaluate performance once change has been implemented

What you bring

  • 7 + years' experience in a similar role, in Transformational / Organizational Change Management or related area, including conducting research managing change, supporting business planning, and developing policy recommendations.

  • Strong experience working on IT Transformation programs involving changes in ways of working e.g. Agile Implementation, Op - Model transformation or AI Implementation to improve IT efficiency.

  • Experience working with senior stakeholders with successful track record of identifying improvement opportunities that improve transformation and processes

  • Excellent communication skills including creation of go - to market content for key changes to raise awareness an adoption this includes leadership presentations, road-show material as well as quick reference guide documents and videos

  • Has exceptionally compelling written and verbal communications skills, and is a clear, concise, and grammatical writer. This includes the ability to easily switch between creative writing/story-telling and tactical writing.

  • Is professional and diplomatic in all communications

  • Be known as a technical leader/expert for change management and change leadership development cross functions/business units and externally

  • Significant experience working with a formal project team under a structured project methodology. This is primarily related to complex technology implementations

  • Self-directed problem-solver taking initiative and proactively addressing issues working with minimal oversight.

  • Experience with software development methodologies, lean methodologies, and project management acquired through participation in projects or formal certifications.

This position is to work onsite for 4 days a week at our Toronto (Yonge and Eglinton) office.
