Healthcare Security Guard - Sudbury

At Securiguard your hard work is recognized and rewarded! Currently seeking to hire and place several security guards on a full-time and part-time basis in Sudbury, Ontario. The candidate must be able to commit to commuting to the job site in Sudbury.

We are looking for guards available on days, nights, and weekends on a full-time and part-time basis. These positions will commence on or around March 1st, 2025.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Candidates will need to be able to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time in various types of climate. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responding to emergency situations including medical emergencies, evacuations, electrical outages, hazardous material spills etc.
  
• Interior and exterior patrols of all buildings and grounds on site, in a variety of weather conditions
• Prevention of theft, disorder and disturbances, infractions and damage to client property and damage or harm to occupants or others
• Provide escorts to visitors, and support visitor management and access control functions
• Support and assistance in with facility alarms by following outlined emergency management protocols
• Keep accurate notes and logs, and complete incident reports for all unusual or unexpected events as required
• By-law and parking enforcement - certification will be provided
• Any and all security related duties as needed based on operational requirements and needs

Experience and Qualifications

• Must hold valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Must be certified in Standard First Aid and CPR level C with AED
• Must understand the importance of providing a high level of customer service to patients, employees and visitors
• Must understand the principles of confidentiality and privacy in a healthcare setting
• Must be familiar with applicable Federal and Provincial legislations
• Must be physically fit to the extent that they are capable of conducting foot patrol, climbing stairs, and performing other duties as assigned.
