What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role, you will:
• Monitor, analyze and report on capital construction projects, current year forecasts and budgets, multi-year allocations, and program specific details • Liaise and coordinate with MTO regional staff in the development and monitoring of the multi-year Ontario Highways Program (north and south) • Advise on strategic options for programming of highway infrastructure projects to senior management • Generate spreadsheets, presentations and briefing materials related to the delivery of the infrastructure programs
Please note that the home work location for this position is 301 St. Paul Street, St Catharines, West Region; however alternate work locations may be considered.

Highway Capital Programming Knowledge
• You have knowledge of analytical theories and methodologies, statistical procedures and specialized computer applications within a highly technical environment • You have knowledge of highways infrastructure, engineering principles, practices, technical standards and criteria relative to highway and bridge design, construction and maintenance • You have knowledge of government structure, policy development, decision-making processes, legislative requirements and critical issues management
Analytical and Organizational Skills
• You have well developed research, analytical, problem solving and evaluation skills • You have demonstrated organizational, planning and project management skills
Communication Skills
• You have well developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills • You have a high degree of proficiency in standardized desk top applications
