Qualifications and Experience | Credentials:
The Assistant Quality Manager supports and maintains our Quality improvement measures within the home, assessing the environment to identify opportunities for improvement to enhance resident care and experience outcomes. Assist in Change Management processes, including conducting audits to monitor performance against quality standards. Supports the Quality Manager in delivering quality related goals and aspirations including statutory, regulatory and quality compliance and improvement. Responsible for both retirement and Long Term Care.
Reports to the Director of Care and Executive Director of the Home
Leadership: Total of 3+ years Nursing supervisory experience (if any), including a minimum of 3 years of experience in Long Term care Strong written, verbal and computer skills are required Demonstrated exemplary leadership and communication abilities Positive outlook with a strong work ethic is required Deadline-oriented and strong prioritization skills a must Be a coach and a mentor

Technical Competencies | Working Knowledge and Compliance of: Accreditation Process, Applicable Contractual & Legislative Requirements. CNO standards, FLTCA 2021, Act & regulations, RHRA Retirement Homes Act 2010, Southbridge policies and Procedures, Quality Management Principles, Project Management Principles, Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English and French (if any), Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Facilitation Skills, Recording and Reporting Skills. Ability to navigate PCC/POC documentation, reports and Insights (QIP), RAI-MDS knowledge, Quality Improvement knowledge.
