The Senior Project Manager, Transit Projects (Rail Operational Planning), will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Rail Operational Planning in the Transit Services Department. The ideal candidate will work very closely with key internal and external stakeholders; to coordinate and project manage the development of train service specifications, ATS timetables, schedules, and work crews for our existing and future rail lines. Further, the ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of rail system timetable, planning, and modelling software and related processes.
Completion of 4 year university degree in Engineering, Architecture, Public Administration, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related field which includes a concentration in project planning and management.
Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the management of complex transportation-related projects, business analysis, and project/policy development, including directly related experience managing project human resources, including external consultants, and working with project budgets/financial processes.
