The Work:


Accenture's Cloud First Infrastructure Engineering professionals partner with our clients to advise, create, and deploy end-to-end infrastructure transformation solutions, enabling business innovation. These solutions are the backbone of driving IT-enabled differentiation. IE professionals are grounded in New-IT with an expertise in one or more of our core practice areas: Digital Workplace, Network Technology, Service Management, Hybrid Cloud, Public Cloud, and traditional Data Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes).

  • Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for software solutions/vendors/brands.

  • Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting as part of a Network Operations group with period on-call shift requirements.

  • Working with cloud architects and infrastructure teams to evaluate application and technology landscape.

  • Understanding cloud and network best practices combined with guiding principles.

  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.

  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.

  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.

Qualifications

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Through understanding of key routing and switching concepts (such as but not limited to trunking, ether-channel, BGP, IS-IS, L2 Security Concepts).

  • Demonstrated understanding of Network Security best practices.

  • Demonstrated experience with two ore more of the following with the following concepts/technologies: DDI, Virtualization, SD-WAN, SD-Access, WLAN administration, SASE, Firewall Technologies, Campus Networking, or SD-DC.

  • Strong written and verbal communications with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a nontechnical audience.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Nice to have:

  • Current Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent.

  • Service Desk and/or Customer Service experience is an asset.

  • Eligibility for Reliability Security Clearance

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.

Annual Salary Range: $45,700 - $86,800
