The Housing Solutions and Investments Service is responsible for facilitating investments in new supportive and affordable housing, developing strategies to increase and accelerate housing options, providing innovative real estate solutions, as well as managing the City's real estate portfolio. The incumbent is also responsible for identifying public lands for redevelopment, while ensuring projects align with city strategic priorities.
You are accountable for the strategic plan, 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan, Long Range Financial Plan Housing and providing vision and leadership to the Service. You will also support planning, organizing, directing, controlling, evaluating and improving the development and delivery of related priorities, services and programs. You are also responsible for administering realty policies and procedures in accordance with provincial legislation and best practices.

Completion of a 4 year university degree in commerce, applied science, architecture, engineering, economics, urban planning, business administration, public administration or other related field
Masters Degree is preferred
Minimum of 10 years of related experience in the real estate asset management and/or development sector, including a minimum of 5 years managing human resources, external contract resources, operating and capital budgets in a complex public organization or private sector corporation
