Project Specialist - Information System to join our Contract Logistics team.
Your Role
As Information Systems Project Specialist you will provide structure and support for operations to effectively implement Kuehne Nagel Systems in order to service customers. The position is responsible for project support, documentation and communications with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the delivery of system testing and documentation for both validated and non-validated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS) environments.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the effective project delivery for new systems implementations in Contract Logistics, following standards and processes set by local, regional and global teams.
Represent the Canada Information Systems teams in all dealings with the global IS project management community and local Customer Onboarding team.
Actively participate in new customer implementations.
Maintaining documentation and communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in joint continuous improvement initiatives with operations.
System validation - ensure that processes are aligned with customer requirements. Participate in quality and compliance audits.
Release management - manage testing for routine installation of updates to the WMS.
Developing and documenting test plans.
Projects lead with clients (internal/external) and Kuehne Nagel Customer Onboarding team
Other duties as assigned by manager.

Your Skills and Experiences
High School/Degree in International Business, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field preferred
3+ years experience in a Pharma 3PL / Distribution Centre / Warehouse environment
3+ years of experience in a similar position in a multi client Warehouse environment
Demonstrative experience in EDI Mapping and general systems administration.
Extensive Project Management experience in regards to WMS implementation
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
