What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • This position is accountable for planning and executing medium to large sized projects across TJX Canada supply chain to deliver on business objectives.
  • Plans and executes projects by collaborating with Supply Chain partners to develop comprehensive project plans, clearly defining scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Provides technical or systems-related information through thorough evaluation, analysis, and documentation
  • Accountable for monitoring, organizing, scheduling, implementing, and closing out projects; develops task-level project master schedule/plan including budget, cost estimates/spend, resource allocations
  • Researches and creates business cases with return on investment (ROI) analyses for all integrated supply chain initiatives to support informed decision-making by business
  • Develops process flows, business process requirements, and job aids by offering expert guidance and working collaboratively with key stakeholders and Supply Chain partners; ensures process improvements are effectively implemented and integrated into daily operations
  • Researches and analyzes, projects and systems, in partnership with business to make informed decisions and optimize project outcomes
  • Responsible for participating in vendor selection and negotiation process with GS&P, ensuring design requirements and specifications are documented; reviews and provides recommendations on vendors assessing product quality, proposal, and cost.

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and or Project Management preferred; with progressive people management or leadership experience preferred
  • Post-secondary degree in related field, e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management and or Black Belt certification required; Agile, Safe, PMP considered an asset
  • Project management skills including structured project methodology (i.e., determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.), preparing and maintaining detailed development plans for projects, determining project specifications, understanding, and applying principles of project control and knowledge of and ability to use project reporting systems
  • Solid management skills including organizational, facilitation, and negotiating skills including conflict management
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with senior management and positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the Company

Salary Range: $85,430 - $129,188* year

*This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
