Mississauga's City Planning Strategies Division is looking for a Planning and GIS Researcher to strengthen our growing data and analytics practice. We are seeking candidates who are curious and passionate about data, can balance multiple priorities, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and apply analytical thinking and geospatial solutions to work through complex planning problems.
The successful candidate will support corporate planning and development data and analytics by visualizing data, developing and maintaining databases, helping prepare population and employment forecasts, supporting the creation of geographical information system (GIS) web applications and responding to requests for information. Extensive computer and software use including databases, spreadsheets, presentation, office and GIS software (both desktop and web based) is required.
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 67,068.00 - $ 89,424.00
