Sr. Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex programs and projects within our organization. You will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and managing stakeholder relationships. Your expertise in program management will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence and driving business growth.

You will report directly to our Sr. Program Manager & work closely with Field Service Managers. You'll work out of the Markham, Ontario site, or Kanata, Ontario site depending on where you are located.

The Honeywell building in Kanata is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, execute and monitor complex program plans including scope, schedules (including milestones), contractual requirements, engineering specs, applicable code, budget, and resources.
• Develop and execute scopes of work required to complete various projects.
• Plan, forecast and monitor labour, 3^rd party material and subcontractor costs and performance.
• Review, interpret, understand, and implement various contract documents
• Engage in effective communications with all stakeholders
• Lead meetings and maintain project meeting minutes
• Report project progress to internal and external involved and affected parties
• Assemble project closeout documents and warranties.
• Produce accurate monthly revenue forecasts to report to the business.
• Ensure a safe working environment and safe work practices are in place and enforced.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in program management or project management
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in one or more of the following fields: building automation, controls, security, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire, contracts, and construction.
• Valid G driver's license
• Ability to acquire Secret Federal Government Clearances for worksites in Kanata

WE VALUE

• Master's degree in relevant discipline
• PMP certification or equivalent (or willingness to obtain PMP certification)
• Building Management Systems -Fire, Security, HVAC, Electrical
• Experience starting constructions jobs from scratch.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, MS Project, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of IT and financial systems (Sales Force, SAP, Cora PPM etc.).
• Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage competing priorities.
• Improving performance, meeting commitments, and getting results.
• Exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
• Acting with urgency and bringing best practices in project management, project forecasting, and project reviews.
