Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, we are looking for a new Logistics Project Manager to join our Contract Logistics team in Markham location.

Your Role

You will act as the Project Lead serving as the primary contact for customer transcend teams, you will assist in designing, implementing agile, effective, and efficient processes across the SDC as part of the new ERP implementation. You will play vital role in the change management strategy and in the communication between the customer, operational business and internal technical departments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and client to understand business needs, and coordinate activities related to data integration processes across multiple functional teams and systems.
  • Define business requirements and identify opportunities to increase accuracy, optimize resources, develop, recommend and implement solutions that support operational deliverables.
  • Acquire information about emerging functionalities and solutions, and implement them within the business.
  • Create project plans for all active project initiatives, with respective tasks, deliverables, required resources and timelines.
  • Frequent follow ups to ensure on-time delivery of all deliverables and working with various personnel to trouble-shoot and problem solve any obstacles.
  • Apply a structured methodology to create the change management strategy and lead the change management activities to support adoption of the systems and operation changes resulting from Transcend.
  • Support communication efforts to enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications to all key stakeholders including escalation plans.
  • Assess the change impact by conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders.
  • Complete change management assessments, identify, analyze, evaluate, and assess user readiness and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Write new SOPs and Work Instructions in collaboration with the project SMEs.
  • Support the writing of Business Simulation Testing and User Acceptance Testing scripts and lead/participate in the testing (10%-15% of the time)
  • Ensure that KN data for Performance Management and KPIs continues to flow through to J&J without disruption through go-live and hyper care.
  • Primary point of contact for Kuehne+Nagel to quickly identify and resolve any challenges that arise through go-live and hyper care.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelors Degree in International Business, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of exceptional project management experience with Microsoft Project
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience and success in Distribution Operations
  • Strong Knowledge on quality management systems (GMP & Health Canada Regulations) and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is preferred
  • Strong knowledge in implementing and troubleshooting experience of ERPs systems
  • CPIM, CPSM, or PMP similar certification can be an asset
