Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project schedule, cost, Risk and Resource using robust Management processes.
  • Support Baseline change management process from engineering - for program cost, schedule, and scope baseline.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), WBS Dictionary, and Cost Account Structure.
  • Support engineering proposal & quotation activities for RFP/RFI submission for functional area.
  • Establish and maintain weekly MOS for ETC & EAC tracking, milestone tracking and action RAILS.
  • Performing monthly variance root cause analysis to cost and schedule baseline for functional aera. Propose corrective action to maintain the baseline.
  • Lead functional group planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Support NPI team to manage supplier. Travel required for managing any supplier issue.
  • Support program manager in the preparation of materials for internal Honeywell Monthly Project Reviews, as well as internal Honeywell customer reviews using standard templates.
  • Tag team with functional team Lead engineer, Lead project engineer and chief engineer to manage technical actions and drive successful design review stages.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management and controls.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering/product development.

WE VALUE

  • Working knowledge/Familiarity with Inmarsat/Iridium SATCOM products is a added plus.
  • Working experience on aerospace product development.
  • Working knowledge of overall engineering disciplines - hardware, software, systems development, certification for the aerospace product line highly desired.
  • Working knowledge/Familiarity with standards, DO-178, DO-254, DO-160 & DO-262 is a plus.
  • Experience in Project Management - managing cost, schedule, resource, risk management.
  • Experience in executive communication, ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent customer & supplier management skills.
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
