What will you be doing!

  • Providing effective Operational Control Monitoring (OCM) in support of ERM's Mission Program Office and requirements established by the corporate Program Management Office covering all aspects of Project Management, Change Control, and Trends (forecasting).
  • Applying a structured methodology and leading change management activities in complex and diverse project teams.
  • Leveraging a change management methodology, process, and tools to create a strategy to support the adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Leading communication efforts by enabling the design, development, and delivery management of key communications.
  • Assessing the change impact by conducting complex impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders.
  • Leading training efforts with complex and diverse projects within the ERM Portfolio.
  • Providing input, documenting requirements, and supporting the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Completing change management assessments and providing the best solutions to complex issues during the rollout of improvements to existing or new processes.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and preparing risk mitigation tactics, and managing anticipated and persistent resistance.
  • Creating actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan.
  • Creating actionable deliverables for any required "Extend" plans, such as the Resistance Management Plan.
  • Supporting and engaging senior leaders and consulting and coaching project teams, managers, and supervisors.
  • Coordinating efforts with other specialists while supporting organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
  • Integrate change management activities into the project plan.
  • Evaluating and ensuring user readiness, managing stakeholders, tracking and reporting issues while defining and measuring success metrics, and monitoring change progress.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

What we are looking for:

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or progressive demonstrable experience of implementing organizational change.
    • Preferred: Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP).
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in change management within a project management setting
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Excellent analytical skills, particularly in variance analysis and data interpretation.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of the organization.
    • Ability to lead training programs and facilitate workshops.
    • Strategic thinking, high emotional intelligence, advanced problem-solving skills, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work with different types of media channels for communications.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility Required
    • Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."
