Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct Site Staff (Landscaper, Maintenance, Cleaning and Customer Care Associates)
  • Liaise with HR to fill job vacancies and conduct final interviews for new hires
  • Orient all staff with health and safety polices
  • Ensure health & safety is an integral part of daily operations including providing an example for others by always directing and performing work in a safe manner, conducting inspections for unsafe acts and conditions and ensure prompt corrective action, holding regular safety meetings to review safety conditions and general safety policies, and participating in the investigation of all workplace incidents
  • Conduct performance reviews and regular meetings
  • Reward, encourage, and motivate Associates and manage disciplinary action as required
  • Schedule work shifts; approve overtime and vacation requests
  • Ensure quality of building interiors and exteriors and prepare for quarterly quality control visits
  • Conduct site visits and inspect suites
  • Control inventory for building operations and oversee ordering of parts and supplies by site
  • Coordinate advertising as required
  • Analyze current market conditions and make recommendations accordingly (rental rate, pay scale, etc.)
  • Develop professional relationship with Resident Members and respond timely to concerns, questions, etc.
  • Coordinate default administration
  • Conduct Financial Analysis, monitor spending and revenues, prepare budgets, analyze financial statements for buildings, and conduct appropriate market research

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Previous Leadership experience is required
  • Property Management Experience an asset
  • Post-secondary education required

Technical Requirements:

  • Advanced computer skills; Excel, Word and other Office 365 functions
  • Ability to learn internal systems
  • Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
  • Dedicated to building better communities for all our customers and surrounding communities
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Effective organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize (excellent time-management skills)

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Flexible availability (complete rotating on-call shift as scheduled)

Pay:

$60,000 annually
