The Release Change and Configuration Analyst, reporting to the Manager of IT Service Operations, plays a critical role in managing and coordinating IT release changes and configuration management processes. This position involves close collaboration with the IT Release Change and Configuration team to ensure smooth, efficient handling of Requests for Change (RFCs) and adherence to change management standards.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure that RFCs (Requests for Change) are logged, vetted for quality and content at time of submission and follow change management rules.

  • Validate RFC reviews and approvals.

  • Ensure that the relevant Change Management approval process is followed.

  • Monitor requested changes end to end, ensuring total quality is maintained (including ticket closure tracking).

  • Ensure conformance to the relevant processes.

  • Assist in preparing for meetings.

  • Report generation.

  • Documentation - Assist in updating process documentation.

What you'll bring to us:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Change Management, including Service Desk, Infrastructure, or Operations.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a two-year technical diploma.

  • Hands-on experience with IT RFCs and the ServiceNow Change Management module. ITIL V4 certification (preferred).

  • Strong client service focus, interpersonal skills, and communication (written and verbal).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to facilitate meetings and presentations.

  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks, adapting to changing needs, and maintaining attention to detail.

  • Eager to learn and take on new challenges.
