Camp Attendant

Description:
ATCO Frontec is seeking a Camp Attendant with frontier spirit to support our emergency response camps in Western Canada. We have multiple relief camps opening, and role details are subject to location.
Rotation:
- 12 hour shifts
- Rotation is subject to change based on operational requirements and camp location:
- 21 days on and 7 days off
- OR 28 days on and 7 days off
Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean and hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen units.
- Make beds, changes sheets, distributes clean towels and toiletries
- Wash, dry, and fold linens and towels.
- Assist in laundry as needed
- Dust and vacuum all furniture and draperies.
- Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Ensure adherence to all government regulations as well as ATCO Frontec Health and Safety, policies and procedures.
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset
- 1 or more years of housekeeping experience in the camp or hotel industry is considered an asset
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent people skills
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment
